Skysurge Aerial was founded by Matt and Lacey Hetrick in 2026. We have been in the Columbus area since 2010. Matt has been a crane, heavy equipment, and aerial lift technician for over 15 years, including 8 years as a trainer on MEWP and Telehandler equipment. He is a certified JLG and Genie Technician, and a certified JLG evaluator.

Matt goes by the nickname 'OX' and has a passion for certifying and training high quality operators in the Central Ohio region. Since 2018, he has trained over 3,000 boom and scissor lift operators, over 500 forklift and telehandler operators, and held task training for several jobsites that needed it for MSHA compliance.
